In Fahrenheit 451 by Ray Bradbury, there were stereotypes all over, whether they were intentional or not. There were specific requirements people thought they needed to meet in society. Women thought they needed to stay home and take care of the children to be thought of an acceptable woman and a good wife. Men thought they needed to put up a front all the time and be emotionless so people did not think they were weak. People of colour and people who were part of the LGBTQ community were seen as such a minority, they were not even mentioned in the book, which says a lot about the time while he was writing.
